On September 2, hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China(商务部)and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality(北京市人民政府), the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened in the China National Convention Center(国家会议中心) and the Shougang Industrial Park(首钢园区). As the largest comprehensive exhibition on global trade in services, CIFTIS has set up a new special topic on healthcare services, presenting medical technology innovation and health service development of China. China General Technology (Group) Holding Co Ltd (Genertec), together with four of its subsidiaries, joined the event. Genertec Universal Medical Group Co., Ltd (Universal Medical) mainly showed its self-developed digital healthcare platform and data middle platform.

Universal Medical health platform takes physical hospitals as the main construction subject and is embedded in the overall hospital informatization solution to realize online medical services and offline treatment. The platform has the functions including consultation, appointment, payment, examination and so on, realizing the users' "one-stop" medical treatment, and further improving the service level of the hospital. At the same time, by integrating massive health data, the platform will cover the whole life cycle of patients and the whole health industry chain. The platform passed the trusted evaluation by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT, 中国信息通信研究院) in 2019, becoming the first digital health platform product to pass this certification in the industry. At present, there are 21 online hospitals, 7 of which have obtained Internet hospital licenses and business licenses. The total number of people served exceeds one million, and the platform has been established in remote areas, so that people across the country can enjoy the benefits of smart and digital medical services.

With the advanced technology framework, data middle platform has functions including unified patient view, holographic electronic medical record, closed loop monitoring and tracking of medical orders, operation analysis and director's decision support, realizing data-driven patient service, clinically decision-making assistance, operation control and so on. Now the platform has collected the full operation and clinical data of 9 hospitals, covering 2.6 million patients and 260 million records, laying a solid foundation for the digitalization and industrialization path of Universal Medical.
