Recently, the Internet health platform that independently developed by Genertec Universal Medical Group Company Limited (“Universal Medical”, HK.2666), successfully won the bid for the Internet Hospital Construction Project of the First Hospital of Qiqihar. This is an important step for Universal Medical to further expand the coverage of medical resources, focusing on connecting and serving hospitals that are out of Universal Medical system, and exploring the marketization of Internet health platforms.

In April this year, the Health Commission of Heilongjiang Province and the Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine issued the Heilongjiang Province Internet+ Medical Operation Guide. As a central SOE, Universal Medical has actively assisted the First Hospital of Qiqihar as the first batch of Internet hospitals in Heilongjiang Province after the launch of new policy. With the help of the Internet health platform, the hospital will provide patients with comprehensive medical services, meet the medical institutions’ needs to access center hospital, actively explore and promote graded diagnosis and treatment, telemedicine, and realize the effective flow and sinking of medical resources.

At present, the Internet health platform has provided functions like graphic/audio/video consultation, family doctor, doctor consultation, appointment registration, electronic prescription, health file, report query and message reminder, two-way referral, remote image diagnosis, inter-diagnosis on WeChat, WEB, iOS and Android. Meanwhile, the platform has also provided health blogs, patient questionnaires, health information, department profiles, and synchronize electronic health card data, connecting corresponding data and services with regulatory platform.
