Genertec Universal Medical and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Sign Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Jointly Blueprint a New Future for TCM Development
On July 27, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony between Genertec Universal Medical and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CDUTCM) was held at the Affiliated Hospital of CDUTCM. Witnessed by Chen Shizu, Deputy Chief Economist of China General Technology Group, Chairman of the Board and Party Secretary of Universal Medical, and Zhang Zejun, Party Secretary of CDUTCM, Wang Wenbing, Executive Director of Universal Medical, and Zeng Fang, President of CDUTCM, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.
This collaboration marks a key initiative to promote the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) through university-enterprise synergy. Both parties have reached consensus on cooperation in areas such as the TCM ophthalmology chain system, TCM data center, Global TCM Center, international development of TCM, TCM talent cultivation, and full-industry-chain cooperation in TCM. By integrating high-quality resources from both the university and the enterprise, they aim to create a new paradigm for the transformation and application of "Qihuang wisdom" (referring to the essence of TCM heritage) and provide a replicable model for the inheritance and innovative development of TCM.

Subsequently, Chen Shizu and his delegation visited CDUTCM’s TCM Clinic to inspect its development status and characteristic TCM diagnosis and treatment models on-site. They also visited the Affiliated Eye Hospital of CDUTCM, where they conducted a systematic investigation into the hospital’s development status, operation models, and technological innovation achievements in the field of integrated TCM-Western medicine ophthalmology. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the future development strategy of the eye hospital and characteristic ophthalmology diagnosis and treatment models, laying a solid foundation for subsequent in-depth cooperation in specialized fields.
