Universal Medical and New Steel Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement
On 25th January 2021, Genertec Universal Medical Group Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Universal Medical", 2666.HK) entered into a cooperation agreement with New Steel Co., Ltd. Which is a subsidiary of Panzhihua Iron and Steel (Group) Company Limited (“Pangang Group”).The two sides have agreed to invest in the establishment of a hospital management company to operate and manage PanSteel Xichang Hospital where Universal Medical holds equity.
PanSteel Xichang Hospital as a Secondary hospital with 300 beds, was founded in 1958. Its specialties including Gastroenterology and anorectal therapy has enjoyed a certain reputation and have strong competitiveness and development potential.
The addition of Pansteel XIchang Hospital is a beneficial supplement to the Panxi regional layout. In future, Universal Medical will promote the integration and optimization of medical resources in the system, and overall improve the medical quality and collaborative development of Pansteel Hospital, Pansteel XIchang Hospital and Panzhihua 19th Metallurgy Hospital, create a new highland for Panxi medical care and help Panxi area become an excellent platform for medical treatment to provide the public with quality medical services .
