Universal Medical and Xi'an Industrial Investment Signed a Cooperation Agreement
On November 19th, General Universal Medical Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Universal Medical", HK2666) and Xi'an Industrial Investment Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xi'an Industrial Investment") under the Xi'an SASAC signed a cooperation agreement. The two sides have agreed to Invest in the establishment of a hospital management company to operate and manage Xi’an Beihuan Hospital (hereinafter referred to as "Beihuan Hospital"), where Universal Medical holds equity.
Xi’an Industrial Investment is a wholly state-owned company established with an advocate of the Xi’an Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government. It has 53 wholly-owned, holding and shareholding companies, and has formed a diversified development structure featuring green energy, sewing equipment, electronic components, and food processing. Beihuan Hospital is affiliated to Xi’an Health and Medical Group Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xi’an Industrial Investment. Beihuan Hospital is a comprehensive Class II A hospital, with 230 beds and specialties of obstetrics and gynecology, hepatobiliary and trauma surgery, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular medicine, gastroenterology, neurology, pediatrics, etc. It enjoys a certain reputation in the local area.
The northwest region is the core area in the hospital network layout of Universal Medical. At present, it has constituted in this region a graded diagnosis and treatment system with a tertiary hospital, and more than 10 secondary and primary medical institutions. The addition of Beihuan Hospital is a beneficial supplement to the regional layout. With medical services as the core, Universal Medical promotes the integration and optimization of medical resources in the system through standardized construction and digital means, and builds a safe, effective, accessible, and humanistic hospital group to provide the public with quality medical services .
