The year of 2020 is stretching out before us when marching seasons greet the brilliant sunshine of New Year falling on China. Reviewing the past, we feel more than grateful for consistent support and concern from our shareholders, investors, partners and friends from all communities. For those of Universal Medical who work all over the country, it is your great dedication that makes what we have accomplished and greater expectations. As 2019 comes to an end and we look ahead to 2020, Universal Medical wants to wish everyone a happy and healthy New Year!

    In the year of 2019, the 70th anniversary of the founding of PRC and the critical moment of building a moderately well-off society in an all-round way, Universal Medical also made great efforts on strategy upgrade to complete its business chain.

    It’s a year of struggling. We have more new members in hospital family with over 40 institutions and almost 15000 beds under management. Our strategy is more crystal-clear while overall progress has been made in resources, business, performance and operation.

    It’s a year of innovation. Facing the complicated market climate, our financial business achieved a steady increase to keep industrial-leading position. Our original online health platform has been implemented in several hospitals and further research and actions in new areas including elderly-care, engineering, health insurance, etc., has made greater foundation for future health and medical conglomerate plan.

    It’s a year of self-revolution. Stereotype has been broken to make an optimized structural system and professional talent pool. Cultural integration is well underway and a group-controlling operation system is beginning to solidify.

    It’s a year of thinking. We heard the political call of a “Healthy China”, we feel the sense of responsibility when the new round of health reform entering deep waters, and we saw people’s expectations on a healthy life. To protect people’s health with quality medical services, the original aspiration and mission we have found as a medical and health conglomerate, would make a great difference in China’s healthcare industry.

    The one trying to wear the crown must bear the weight. We know well that the future always comes with difficulties and challenges. However, we firmly believe it’s the only way which must be passed by pioneers with accumulated resources and energy as beacon and weapons. Going with the times, we are well prepared to shoulder the responsibility to provide more efficient and quality medical services to Chinese people and make great contributions to a “Healthy China” in future.
