An agreement to co-establish a hospital management company was signed between Genertec Universal Medical Group Company Limited (“Universal Medical”, HK.2666) and China Jinjiang Info Industrial Co., Ltd. (“China Jinjiang”) on 30 November 2019. The hospital management company, with Universal Medical’s holding the most, would become the new promoter of Jinjiang Hospital (also called Chenghua District Jianshe Road Community Health Service Center). 

        The shareholder of China Jinjiang, China Electronics Corporation, is one of the backbone SOEs under the direct administration of central government, ranking among the Global 500 over 8 years in a row. Jinjiang Hospital, an affiliated community health service center of China Jinjiang, is located in the hub of Chengdu City with medical service covering tens of thousands residents. Its wide customer base results from basic medical service to Jinjiang staff and local residents. 

         In future, Jinjiang Hospital will make an effective complement to Sichuan Regional Medical Group of Universal Medical. It will provide more quality medical service to local residents by sharing resources with other institutions within the group, bringing its tentacle role into full play.
