From 27 to 29 June 2019, the first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was held in Changsha, Hunan. As one of the 12 SOEs that entered the central SOE exhibition area, China General Technology Group exhibited the main content of the medical health overall solution. The program reflects the vision that Chinese companies and African people would build a better life together. Universal Medical Group Company Limited (“Universal Medical”, HK.2666), as the core operating entity of China General Technology Group’s medical health segment, demonstrates the self-developed “Internet+” medical technology results – Internet health platform – in a real-time interactive manner. It is a communication platform used between doctors and patients by Internet technology. This program has aroused enthusiastic response from both Chinese and African guests in the exhibition, and it has also been strongly affirmed by the SASAC.

In response to the problem of insufficient supply and uneven distribution of medical resources in common places, Universal Medical allows patients to enjoy the best quality medical services in first-tier cities and even overseas through the Internet health platform. At present, the platform has been implemented in some hospitals of Universal Medical, and will be fully deployed in the future, bringing high-quality medical and health services to thousands of users and meeting the growing diversified medical needs of the people.

In the future, Universal Medical will actively implement the “Belt and Road” initiative, and build a medical talent training and exchange platform covering countries along the “Belt and Road”, linking the expert resources of domestic top hospitals and overseas high-end medical resources to the medical institutions of various countries covered by the “Belt and Road”. Through the platform, medical workers can get the opportunity to exchange and study directly with world-class medical experts.
