Genertec Universal Medical Group Company Limited (“Universal Medical”, HK.2666) successfully won the bidding of Hefei Anhua Hospital （合肥安化医院，“Anhua Hospital”）during a CBEX (北京产权交易所，China Beijing Equity Exchange) open call proposed by CNSG Anhui Red Sifang Co., Ltd (中盐安徽红四方股份有限公司,“CNSG Red Sifang”) to formally become the new promoter of Anhua Hospital.

Anhua Hospital is the designated agency covered by national medical insurance in Hefei City and Anhui Province, respectively, with rehabilitation department as development focus and an actual capacity of 200 beds. The hospital used to be affiliated with CNSG Red Sifang, whose controlling shareholder China National Salt Group (中国盐业集团有限公司,“CNSG”) is a large-scale state-owned enterprise under State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Anhua Hospital comprises 5 institutions, including Hefei Anhua Rehabilitation Hospital (合肥安化创伤康复医院) (a Grade II specialized hospital), Yaohai Hongguang Street Healthcare Center (瑶海区红光街道小区卫生服务中心) (a Grade I community hospital), Sifang Hospital (四方医院) (a Grade I comprehensive hospital), a community healthcare station and a clinic.

Universal Medical, as a leading medical and health conglomerate and the core entity engaged in medical industry under China General Technology Group, one of the three state-owned enterprises which focus on health industry, enjoys diversified quality medical resources across the world and financial strengths. In future, Universal Medical will cooperate with Anhua Hospital to upgrade its rehabilitation department into a rehabilitation medical center by making improvements in talents, technology, equipment, management and services, to make the hospital into a high-class modernized rehabilitation medical center with outstanding unique technology and excellent service quality within Anhui Province. Yaohai Hongguang Street Healthcare Center with its affiliates will be upgraded to not only satisfy the basic medical requirements of local residents but also provide diversified diagnosis and treatment, operating in coordination with Hefei Anhua Rehabilitation Hospital.
