A few days ago, the first annual meeting of Sichuan Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery（四川省耳鼻咽喉头颈外科学会）was held in Minshan Hotel, Chengdu. The meeting was aimed at more academic exchanges among professionals in otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery so as to further standardize related technology and enhance treatment quality.

During the meeting, Universal Medical was honored member of the Academy for more in-depth cooperation with the Academy in the future. Connections and coordination among related public health institutions at all levels, hospitals and social organizations are of great significance to prosperity and development of otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery in Sichuan Province.

The Academy, the host of the annual meeting, invited numbers of reputed experts to seminars, including Professor Xu Geng from the First Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-sen University（许庚，中山大学第一附属医院）, Professor Zeng Jingxian from Queen Mary’s Hospital（曾敬贤，香港玛丽医院）, Professor Xiao Shuifang from Peking University Health Science Center（肖水芳，北京大学医学部）, Professor Liu Shixi from West China Hospital, Sichuan University（刘世喜，四川大学华西医院）and Professor Fan Jinchuan from Sichuan Cancer Hospital（樊晋川，四川省肿瘤医院）.

Sichuan Academy of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery was co-founded by related departments from top hospitals in Sichuan and has included over 100 member hospitals within the province. It is aimed to enhance cooperation and exchanges among professionals and safeguard their rights and interests so as to promote the academic development in otorhinolaryngology head and neck surgery area.
