From June 28th to 29th, 2013 Forum of China Primary Hospital Stroke Prevention and Treatment was held in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province. Ms. Pent Jiahong, the Vice-president and Chief Accountant of CULC, delivered the opening speech. Mr. Liu Yongmin, the Director of Scientific Result Promotion Office, State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, delivered a speech on how to strengthen the key departments in hospitals of Chinese traditional medicine. Nearly 200 presidents and experts from all over China attended the forum.
     The attendees communicated thoroughly and deeply from different perspectives and interpreted the internal drive and necessity for nationally promoting stroke prevention and treatment. The delegates from different hospitals visited Qiqihar Jianhua Hospital to learn from its latest results of stroke prevention and treatment. They also watched the practices of Professor Zhang Qinyi, the leading expert of MOH Stroke Screening and Prevention Project and the Chief of Stroke Department of Anzhen Hospital, Professor Bo Liyang from Stroke Department of Anzhen Hospital and Professor Yong Qiang, the leading ultrasound expert of SASG and the Chief of Ultrasound Department of Anzhen Hospital. The delegates also listened to the report of Wuzhong Hospital of Chinese Medicine on stroke prevention and treatment. They expressed the hope to establish the center for preventing and treating cardio-cerebral vascular diseases to further promote and complete the stroke screening and prevention system.
     During the forum, CULC signed cooperative contracts with Shangcai Hospital of Chinese Traditional Medicine in Henan Province and Weinan Second Hospital in Shaanxi Province, sales contracts with two hospitals and agreements of intent with 13 hospitals.
     CULC President Mr. Guo Weiping pointed out that the purpose of this forum is to spread and share the experience of establishing stroke screening and prevention base with consideration of the development of Chinese primary hospitals. In addition, the forum adopted a people-oriented mindset, spreading knowledge for stroke management and introducing the latest technology and medical equipment.
