National level inclusion! General Technology Group Company/Universal Medical's Xi'an Aero Hospital cases were selected into the national clinical pathway case database

Recently, the case of "From" Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment "to" Quality Benefit Synergy ": Evolution and Value Reconstruction of Clinical Paths" submitted by Xi'an Aero Hospital, affiliated to General Technology Group Company/Universal Medical, was successfully included in the national "Practical Cases of the Construction Project of the Monitoring and Evaluation System for Inhibiting Microbial Resistance", officially included in the national clinical pathway case database, and became a demonstration sample of clinical pathway management in national secondary hospitals.


This selection is jointly organized by the Expert Committee on Clinical Application and Drug Resistance Evaluation of Antibiotics of the National Health Commission, the National Monitoring Network for Clinical Application of Antibiotics, the National Monitoring Network for Bacterial Resistance, and other "Five Networks and One Conference" organizations. The aim is to implement the work requirements of the "Healthy China 2030" Plan Outline and the "National Action Plan for Containing Microbial Drug Resistance (2022-2025)", and promote the advanced practical experience of medical institutions in clinical pathway management, rational use of antibiotics, and drug resistance prevention and control.


 


Starting from the actual pain points of clinical pathway management in hospitals, this selected case faces the common problems of cumbersome manual operations, lack of variation management, and low homogenization of diagnosis and treatment in grassroots hospitals. Around the core goal of "standardizing diagnosis and treatment, improving quality, and controlling costs", the hospital innovatively constructs a "three-level management+four-dimensional linkage" management model, from organizational support and mechanism innovation to "screening production monitoring assessment" full process management, ultimately achieving a three-dimensional improvement in medical indicators, service quality, and operating costs.


The core value of this model lies in "low cost, high adaptability, and strong effectiveness". The implementation process does not rely on high investment equipment or high-end technology. The core can be implemented through institutional design (linked to performance evaluation), organizational collaboration (three-level management+four-dimensional linkage), and basic informatization (HIS system optimization). This path is particularly suitable for secondary hospitals with limited resources - starting from the screening logic of the "top ten diseases in the department", it can help hospitals quickly establish a path management foundation, reduce trial and error costs, gradually achieve full disease coverage, and provide practical reform references for secondary comprehensive hospitals and grassroots medical institutions nationwide.
