On October 10th, Genertec Universal Medical and the Sichuan Provincial Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine signed a strategic cooperation agreement and held the opening ceremony for the company’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic. Representatives from Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Sichuan Provincial Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chengdu General Electric Hospital, and local government officials attended the event.

The ceremony was held at the first primary-level promotion and practice base of the collaboration, Chengdu General Electric Hospital. The goal of the partnership is to make it as a model for the company’s Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic. The two parties will deepen their cooperation in areas such as traditional Chinese medicine skills improvement, young physician talent cultivation, product development, operation management, and service capabilities improvement, to continuously improve the level of traditional Chinese medicine disciplines in their hospitals, and jointly promote the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine.

As a state-owned medical and health group, Universal Medical implements the national traditional Chinese medicine development strategy, uses the Universal Medical Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic as a carrier, relies on the cooperation with traditional Chinese medicine universities in various provinces, integrates scarce resources of national Chinese medicine masters and famous old experts, establishes a service model centered on appropriate traditional Chinese medicine techniques and products, forms a traditional Chinese medicine service team with core members from famous schools, hospitals, and doctors, serves the surrounding people, promotes traditional Chinese medicine culture, and continuously promotes the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine. Currently, the Universal Medical Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic has successfully settled in the Aerospace Industrial base Feng Qi Dong Lu Community Health Service Center and Chengdu Chenghua District Mengzhuiwan Jianshe Road Community Health Service Center, laying a foundation for exploring a distinctive, effective, and developed chain-type comprehensive hospital traditional Chinese medicine operation model.
