Recently, Genertec Universal Medical completed the second donation to the “Xinyan Charity Fund”, demonstrating the social responsibility as a SOE caring about public welfare with practical actions.

This donation by Universal Medical will mainly help Xinyan Charity Fund in northeast, northwest, northern Jiangsu, Panxi to assist more patients in need of medical assistance for orthopedic diseases(骨科疾病), tumors (lung tumors(肺部肿瘤), colorectal tumors(结直肠肿瘤), breast tumors(甲乳肿瘤)), nephropathy(肾病) and other diseases with high incidence and serious impact on patients' life.

In March 2021, Universal Medical and China Primary Health Care Foundation(中国初级卫生保健基金会) jointly launched the Xinyan Charity Fund. During the same period, Universal Medical completed its first donation. Since its operation for half a year, the Xinyan Foundation has launched major disease assistance programs for children and colorectal cancer assistance programs in Panzhihua, Xianyang, Yunnan and other places, assisting nearly 70 patients, effectively meeting the clinical treatment needs of acute and severe patients with economic difficulties in remote areas.

The 68-year-old Grandma Zhao from Liangshan, Sichuan province, is suffering from colorectal polyp turned into stage 1 adenoma（结直肠息肉转一期腺瘤）. Zhao and her husband, who grow pomegranates for a living, hardly make both ends meet with an annual disposable income of only 15,000 yuan. They initially wanted to give up the surgery which they barely afford.. Then the local hospital promptly applied for the Xinyan Charity Fund for Zhao, and performed the surgery. In order to express gratitude, after leaving the hospital, Zhao and her husband hitching a ride more than 160 kilometers for nearly six hours, sent a "small gift" to the medical staff.

In addition, Xinyan Charity Fund has helped many patients in need, such as elderly workers supporting third-line construction who cannot afford medical treatment, cancer patients who are unable to work due to serious illness, and test-tube babies who need to be kept alive by a ventilator in an intensive care unit......
