On September 16th to 17th, the first "Xiaotong Mobile Medical Vehicle" of China General Technology (Group) Holding Co Ltd, (Genertec) settled in Shangdu, Inner Mongolia as the first local "mobile hospital" service in Quannaozi, a Shangdu village, to deliver high-quality medical resources to door, further promoting the construction of regional health service system.

Wang Xusheng, vice general manager and member of the Party Committee of Genertec, pointed out that this vehicle, decided by Genertec and paid by Genertec Universal Medical Group Co., Ltd (Universal Medical), would be committeed to solving the problem of medical treatment in remote areas, and providing high-quality, efficient, safe and accessible medical services.

The "Mobile Hospital" in the Countryside

The "mobile hospital" has been warmly welcomed by villagers. On the morning of September 17th, villagers lined up by the vehicle.

In addition to measuring blood pressure and blood sugar, villagers can also have color ultrasound, biochemical test and electrocardiogram, which usually only can be carried out in hospitals.

With the help of digitization, "Xiaotong Mobile Medical Vehicle" extends medical resources to communities, units and towns. The vehicle is 8 meters in length, carefully designed by Universal Medical, equipped with DR, color ultrasound, electrocardiogram machine, automatic biochemical analyzer, blood cell analyzer, urine analyzer, pulmonary function tester and other 11 items of inspection equipment, as well as defibrillator, monitor, ventilator and other emergency equipment. In addition to meeting the requirements of routine outpatient examination and national public health physical examination, information systems such as HIS, LIS, PACS and physical examination are also deployed, and the data is associated with the UM online health platform, which makes the vehicle has the capabilities of mobile clinic, remote treatment and medical first aid, truly realizing the service function of "mobile hospital".

"It's so convenient to see a doctor right at the doorstep!" Chang Yuehou, 73, had a big smile on his face and greeted his neighbors as he stepped out of the vehicle.

Chang Yuehou's children are working faraway. After suffering from myocardial infarction, he needed to go to the hospital frequently for examination. Every time he went out to see a doctor and buy medicine, it was a "big project". Now the village has a "mobile hospital" - "Xiaotong mobile medical vehicle". Doctors check, test, prescribe medicines... the whole process takes less than 30 minutes, and the villagers can carry out the medical treatment and health examination without leaving the village.

A leader from Shangdu said that the operation of "Xiaotong Mobile Medical Vehicle" in Shangdu will further enhance the medical and health service capacity, provide more convenient and intimate healthcare services, and also promote both poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.

Building "Healthy Shangdu"
