On July 23rd, the 3rd Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine (陕西中医药大学, SUCM) was unveiled in XD Hospital, a member of Genertec Universal Medical. Leaders and staff from both parties attended the ceremony, including Mr. Sun Zhenlin, deputy secretary of CPC committee and president of SUCM, Mr. Yu Yuanwang, deputy secretary of CPC committee of SUCM, Mr. Pu Jisheng, deputy secretary of CPC committee of SUCM, Ms. Peng Jiahong, CEO of Universal Medical, etc.

SUCM is a medical college focusing on Chinese medicine, President Sun Zhenlin described, with diversified disciplines including medicine, science, engineering, liberal arts and management supporting and integrating with each other, the school is equipped with academician workstations, postdoctoral innovative bases, postdoctoral scientific research workstations and more than 40 research platforms including Collaborative Innovation Center of TCM Resource Industrialization of Shaanxi Province. The unveiling marked an important action for both parties to enhance strategic cooperation between schools and enterprises and to promote commercialization of research findings and talent training. Based on principles of “Strategic Cooperation, Resources Sharing, Advantages Complementation, Equality and Mutual Benefit, Coordinated Development”, both sides would better serve local residents of Shaanxi Province and together promote innovative development of China’s medical industry.

SUCM is a key medical college of Shaanxi Province with outstanding talents and research strengths and boasts about its Chinese medical discipline which is reputed among the industry. Both sides would start further cooperation in training, systems and exchanges for a win-win development trend. XD Hospital is expected to seize the opportunity to convert concepts, learn lessons from advanced managerial expertise of other college affiliates to enhance comprehensive strengths, and finally lead an accelerated progress of alliance members, better serving local residents and contributing to the medical industry of Northwest China.

After the ceremony, experts from SUCM and its other affiliated hospitals, and Sichuan University made keynote speeches with topics including teaching, research, teachers teambuilding, international exchanges and talent training.
