Genertec Universal Medical Group Company Limited (“Universal Medical”, HK.2666) was greatly honored by gracious presense of experts from Stroke Prevention and Treatment Group of National Health Commission (“NHC”), to provide professional guidance for the stroke and rehabiliation centers of Yantai Port Hospital, on October 29. It marks another significant step by Universal Medical to enhance key discipline contruction of its member hospital ever since the grand academic seminar held in April, which received wide assistance from municipal health department, disease control center and community health centers.

        October 29 is also the World Stoke Day. A series of related activities including lectures, free clinic and academic seminars were held in Yantai Port Hospital as the efforts to cover the shortage in stroke prevention and treatment. Several reputed experts in CVA field were committed to consistent attendance during these activities, including Professor Wang Jinhuan, deputy director of Stroke Prevention and Treatment Group of NHC, Professor Hua Yang, deputy director of Stroke Prevention and Treatment Group of NHC and director of vascular ultrasound department of Beijing Xuanwu Hospital, Professor Gu Shaoqin, deputy director of community rehabilitation commission of Jiangsu Rehabilitaion Medical Association and president of Nanjing Kangfu Chinese Traditional Medicine Hospital and Professor Yu Tianxia, young-and-middle-aged expert of Stroke Prevention and Treatment Group of NHC and deputy director of Quality Control and Enhancement Branch of Shangdong Stroke Association. Based on the topic of construction and development of stroke and rehabiliation center, Professor Wang Jinhuan (“Construction of a Stroke Center Must Be Enforced”), Professor Huayang (“Plan on Rehabiliation in Yantai Port Hospital”) and Professor Gu Shaoqin (“Accurate Evaluation of Brain Carotid Arteries Assists Construction of Stroke Center”) did spectacular lectures and field sessions respectively. Profession Li Jian’an, international academician of American Academy of Medical Sciences and director of rehabilitaion center of the First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University, also shared precious views via video on hot topics including Universal Medical’s stratigical plan of rehabiliation subject, construction of rehabiliation center in Yantai Port Hospital and constuction of Branch of Academician Li Jian’an Workstation. 

        As the first member hospital of Universal Medcal in Shandong Province, Yantai Port Hospital has made continuous efforts to develop its subjects, standardizaiton construction, equipment and facilities, service procedures and digitalizaiton construction. In future, the hospital will continue the multi-subject management and focus on “two cores” to improve department management and hospital management together, with commitment to become a regional center hospital under Universal Medical and provide qualtiy medical services to local residents.
