On April 1, the 2019 International Health Artificial Intelligence Summit was inaugurated in Shanghai Expo Center. Genertec Universal Medical Group Company Limited (“Universal Medical”, HK.2666) was invited to the conference, during which the Internet Health Platform of the company successfully passed the medical cloud application product trustworthiness evolution, becoming one of the very first internet health platform products to have pass the trusted cloud application certification among the whole industry.

Leaders from WHO, ITU and Chinese government departments, and experts and scholars from industry, medical institutions and outstanding medical enterprises attended the summit to have in-depth discussions on hot topics including development and cooperation on international medical AI, future prospects on international medical AI, innovation on international medical AI, new mode exploration on medical AI and 5G+AI smart medical.

During the summit, Mr. He Baohong, director of CAICT Cloud and Big Data Research Institute, announced the results of medical cloud computing trustworthiness evaluation (III), among which 11 enterprises passed the evaluation including Universal Medical, Tencent, Pingan Smart Medical, Yitu and Siemens. The pass rate is 59%.

CAICT is a scientific research institution under the direct administration of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The medical cloud computing trustworthiness evaluation, co-conducted by CAICT and Internet Health Care Industry Alliance (互联网医疗健康产业联盟) , is to certify the comprehensive strengths and professional skills of medical could application servers. The medical cloud computing trusted standard system effectively bridges the huge information gap between cloud servers and industry users, simplifying the complicated cloud service product by turning into more understandable indicators for users. In the meanwhile, the system builds an industrial threshold to promote positive development of the market, helping users choosing quality products and providing reference to industry cloud platform construction. The evaluation includes 4 dimensions, namely, cloud service capability, big data service capability, basic information and maturity of solutions, ending with open reply with expert groups.
