Improving Medical Service Capability to Make a Central SOE-Medical and Health Conglomerate with Chinese Characteristics

Universal Medical, as the operating entity of central SOE-China General Technology Group which focuses on health industry, has entered domestic health market for over 10 years, covering 30 provinces and over 1500 hospital customers. The company has a profound understanding of health industry development and the requirements of the people.

For major difficulties which need to be solved immediately, Mr. Guo Weiping, the CEO of Universal Medical, stated in keynote speech that to push forward China’s health system reform and overall development of medical technology and people’s health, the resources integration is necessary, which cannot be accomplished by only one hospital or one medical institution. Therefore, Universal Medical will make great efforts to make itself a central SOE-medical and health conglomerate with Chinese characteristics, leveraging on its diversified medical resources, flexible mechanisms, advanced technology and professional teams to complete a hospital group network covering China and sharing resources among doctors and patients. We will also establish a standardized system to share data and make patients in remote areas enjoy high-quality services as well, executing “Healthy China Strategy” by real action.

In future, Universal Medical will be proactive to focus on quality medical service and develop a diversified health industry matrix including medical finance, health insurance, pharmacy, supply chain, integration of treatment and elderly care and hospital digitalization. The company will keep its promise to improve the medical condition in China and achieve an actual real “Health for All” picture.
