Universal Medical initiated its Baihe Stroke Center Project in Ankang, Shaanxi Province. Mr. Chen Shaofu, directior of Ankang Health Department and Mr. Tian Gang, member of Baihe Standing Committee, secretary of Baihe Committee for Discipline Inspection and director of Baihe Committee for Supervision, addressed the opening ceremony. Ms. Long Min, general manager of Universal Medical Healthcare Technology Cooperation Department, also attended the ceremony. Officials from neighboring counties and experts from county hospitals come to the ceremony for learning and communication.

After the ceremony, Universal Medical invited Dr. Wang Jinhuan, Dr. Wu Jialing, Dr. Yu Delin from Tianjin Huanhu Hospital to lecture on stroke center construction, neck and cranial artery ultrasonography and management on ischemic stroke based on etiology and cause. Over 200 practitioners from 18 Baihe healthcare institutions attended the lecture.

Universal Medical is a leading healthcare conglomerate with financing strengths and domestic and overseas healthcare resources. The Baihe Stroke Center Project will provide a series of comprehensive and systematic trainings to help Baihe People’s Hospital to improve its healthcare resources distribution in treatment system of acute cerebrovascular disease. The project will, together with Ankang Central Hospital with an established national advanced stroke center, promote regional medical technology and bring welfare to local residents.
