Recently, International Landport Hospital, to be co-established by Universal Medical Financial & Technical Advisory Services Company Limited (“Universal Medical”, HK.2666) and Xi’an Jiaotong University First Affiliated Hospital, initiated its geological exploration with support of the Management Commission of Xi’an International Trade & Logistics Park, which marks the project construction has entered substantial period.

The geological exploration will be finished by China Jikan Research Institute of Engineering Investigations and Design Co., Ltd（机械工业勘察设计研究院有限公司）. Geological exploration plays one of major premises in construction and will offer necessary reference to follow-up work which will start later according to construction plan.

The cooperation between Universal Medical and First Affiliated Hospital is the first binding of a top public hospital under NHFPC and a SOE under central government will make a 3A hospital integrating different functions like treatment, education, research, elderly care and rehabilitation. China IPPR and Sweden top hospital designer Tengbom has become the designer of the new hospital and other procedures within the project are all well underway.
